The Height Calculator predicts a child's adult height using the mid-parental height method and the Khamis-Roche formula. It combines both parents' heights with the child's current measurements to estimate final stature.
The prediction has a margin of error of ± 5 cm (2 inches). Genetics account for 60–80 % of adult height; nutrition, sleep and health during childhood influence the rest.
Mid-parental formula — Boys: (father + mother + 13 cm) ÷ 2. Girls: (father + mother − 13 cm) ÷ 2. Most growth is complete by age 16 (girls) or 18 (boys).
